VERBS

Verbs can change their tense (eg past, present and future)
             She sang well.  She sings well.  She will sing well.


Verbs can be simple (one word) or compound (more than one word)
             He sings                              He is singing

Verbs are conjugated (change their form according to the person they apply to)  
              I sing                               we sing
              you sing                          you sing
              he/she/it sings                they sing
